A guide to costs & fees
Tracing
Tracing costs are usually on a flat fee basis.
Budget for £245-£410.
Agents are able to give advice on each case free of charge.
We have a 97% success rate & so are often in a position to offer a guaranteed result.
We require the name & date of birth of the person.
In the absence of date of birth, we can advise on the likelihood of it being findable.
Surveillance
Surveillance costs are hourly. Hourly rates are inclusive of all fees, reports, expenses etc.
On some rare occasions, we may need to add some costs, these are always discussed before any booking is made or payment is taken.
Rates depend on the location, with a minimum 3-5 hours for any instance.
For cheating partners budget £1300-£3100. Multiple weeks.
For specific tasks or 1 single instance, budget £180-£320.
Background checks
Background checks include many different information points.
Budget £245-£500.
These can include Court orders, address history, who they live with, if they own their own home, divorces, marriages, children, defaults, name changes, county court judgments and many other data points.
International investigations are based on 2 different approaches for surveillance.
Vetted and arranged local contacts or a British Investigator/s from Operant Investigators.
Local agents are cheaper but it can be difficult sometimes to get a completely clear picture.
Budget £600-£1700 for a local agent. Budget £2900-£9000 for a British Agent to be deployed.

Q: Why are you so vague with some things?
A: We are unable to give specific answers to some questions for operational security reasons, to maintain trade secrets & to protect our clients.
Q: Are their tricks you use to find people?
A: It depends what you mean by tricks. We do have tricks we use, but we never trick people, hope that makes sense. We don't share our tricks, so we can share our skills with people instead.
Q: What do Private Investigators use for surveillance?
A: We have many different pieces of equipment. I recommend reading our blog post about camcorders to get an idea of what we look for in our equipment.
